So, OK Google Provides you a Tool to Translate a text from certain language into another.

But what if you don;t even know what language the Original Text is in.

Take a Scenario,

You received a Comment on your Blog or saw a Wall Post/Status Message of a Friend in Facebook. The Text is in a language you don;t understand, forget that, you can’t even make out which language the text is written in.

What do you do then?

Here is the Answer, Use Google’s Own Language Detection Tool to detect the Language based on words.

Just enter few of the Words from the Text and enter it into the Text Box in the above Tool, then Press Detect.

You will see the detected Language which is an approximation with a reliability factor attached with it.

Its not 100% reliabele, but can still help.

• It will ask you for the name of your Blog and your email Address.
  enter them and submit the Form

  

  Don’t forget to select the Option to enable Search Engines to show

• It will give you the login detail for the Admin Account.
  Note them down.

  

• Now Login to the Admin Panel of the newly installed Blog.
• Go to Settings => General and make the desired changes.
• Goto Settings => permalinks and select the desired format for your urls.

  Generally the Date and postname or Month and Post Name options are Good enough.

• It will provide you a piece of Code and provide some Instructions to copy
  the Code into a file named .htaccess do that and upload the file to the
  same Location in the Server

  

You should be Good to go now. Make a Post.

I went to the following Page to submit this Query, It wasn;t untill I was to click on the Submit Button that I realized I have to select the City from the Drop down box, which doesn’t have any entry… because I selected Circle as Kolkata, The Drop Down Box for City was empty and now the Validation Script asks for the City. A website is never complete, It works in phases,

But in all phases Try to highlight the strength and hide the weakness (Don’t show anything that doesn’t have enough to impress),

Example: when you have only one testimonial, show the testimonial without a link to more testimonials … But the time you get 5 to 6, call it latest testimonials and show Date and have a Link to the Testimonial Link …

When you have over 50, say random 50 testimonials and have multi pages (10 per page) ..

You can set whether to open Links in a new Tab or a new Window in Firefox by following the Instructions below

1. Open the Dialog window as explained below…
   

   Edit => Preferences on Linux based machine

   Tools => Options (for all others)

2. Go to the Section for Tabs
3. You will see a settings for the following:
   

   New Pages should be opened in

   • a new Tab
   • a new Window

You can select new Tab in the above.

This will not work as really intended…

Some Websites have links which opens a new window and tries to set the Width, Height etc for the new window, these are best let be opened in a new Window itself. To achieve this you need to follow the Instructions below.

1. In your Browser Window’s Address Bar type about:blank
2. searh for the key Browser.link.open_newwindow
   Right click on the entry that you see and click on modify from the popup menu
   enter 3 for the value.
3. searh for the key Browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction
   Right click on the entry that you see and click on modify from the popup menu
   enter 2 for the value.

Thats is all. Now all links which are opened using Javascripts with some info for the display property of the window opened will open in a new Window.
